Classroom Teacher

The Teacher at Lake Pointe Resource Center & Academy of Granbury provides individualized, strengths-based instruction to students with learning differences in a supportive environment. This role requires compassion, creativity, and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. We provide small class sizes and a supportive team approach that values neurodiversity and student-centered learning.

Most positions involve close collaboration with students, families, therapists, and other education professionals. Flexible scheduling options may be available depending on grade level and program needs.

Requirements for a Teacher position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)

  • Valid teaching certification (Special Education certification preferred)

  • Experience supporting students with learning differences (e.g., dyslexia, ADHD, autism, processing disorders)

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills

  • Willingness to collaborate and learn in a team-based environment

instructional Aide

Our Instructional Aides work closely with certified teachers and behavior analysts to help implement individualized academic and behavioral support plans. They assist in classroom routines, reinforce learning through hands-on activities, and help ensure each student receives the guidance they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom instruction and academic activities

  • Assist with implementation of behavior strategies

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support as needed

  • Help maintain a structured, nurturing learning environment

Student Support Aide

Our Student Support Aides play a vital role in promoting comfort, safety, and inclusion for all learners. These team members provide emotional, behavioral, and practical support throughout the day — helping students navigate routines, transitions, and peer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer individualized support across therapy, academic, or social settings

  • Assist with transitions between environments (e.g., class, lunch, therapy sessions)

  • Promote communication, self-advocacy, and regulation strategies

  • Foster connection, dignity, and trust in every interaction

ABA Clinic

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Lake Pointe Resource Center ABA is directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is also a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the State of Texas.  BCBA’s lead close-knit teams of Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as they provide in-home, in-clinic, or school-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with children and families in their local communities. 

Requirements include a Master’s degree, preferably in educational psychology. Completion of required coursework in applied behavior analysis, working directly with clients while under direct supervision, passing the Board examination and obtaining Licensure as a Behavior Analyst in Texas. 

*If you are not yet certified but would like to become a BCBA, please inquire. We offer educational options and supervision to qualified individuals leading towards becoming a BCBA/LBA.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

The mission of the Behavior Technician is to diligently provide ABA services under the supervision of a BCBA to clients with autism or related developmental needs in order for the clients to achieve mastery of behavior treatment goals.  This requires compassion, a firm grasp of ABA, and professionalism.

We provide supervision and training for therapists interested in becoming BCBA-certified. We provide competitive wages and compensation plans.

Most positions have flexible hours (part-time or full-time) and involve high levels of interaction with the client, the client’s family, other therapists, and your BCBA supervisor. Remote or telehealth positions may also be available.

Requirements for a Behavior Technician position include:

  • High School Diploma (Bachelor’s Preferred)

  • Adult and Pediatric CPR/BLS

  • Submitting to Background Check and TB Screening

  • Additional educational requirements may apply for Medicaid/Humana service providers
